Hello! My name is Joseph (Joey) Lafko. Originally from Agoura Hills CA, I am a current USC Annenberg and Cinematic Arts student proficient in several areas of production, such as cinematography and post production. I currently work for USC Athletics as a Creative Producer, former NFL tackle Andrew Whitworth's private gym for athletes, and recently finished my production internship with Fox Sports 1. At FS1, I worked on the popular sports talk show "Speak," where I cut VOs, Loops, and SOTs for daily distribution. I was also given the opportunity to showcase my photo and video skills, where I was a set photographer twice and set videographer once, use on advertisements for Speak airing on FS1.
I also have relevant social media experience, where I intern at USC Athletics, producing short form social media content from start to finish, covering a wide variety of sports from USC Football, USC Men's and Women's Basketball, Women's and Men's Tennis, Women's Rowing, and Women's Lacrosse.
My unique ability to connect and personalize with high profile athletes ensures trust, integrity, and stability in the workplace. I have worked with several athletes, such as Cooper Kupp, Puka Nacua, Tyler Higbee, Jordan Whittington, Christian Yelich, Paris Johnson Jr., and Quinten Lake, all viewable under the "Work" tab.
